Android 15 (One UI 7) update Which Galaxy phones will get it
After Google released the first developer preview of the next operating system on February 17, owners of Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets have understandably started to question whether their devices will receive Android 15.
Owners of Galaxy smartphones will have to wait a long time to test out the new software since Google will finish working on Android 15 in July and Samsung will need a few more months to integrate it with One UI 7, the next version of the operating system.
Do they need to wait a long time to find out whether Android 15 will work with their smartphone, though? As usual, we may rely on knowledge of prior major Android and One UI upgrades to generate an unofficial list of supported devices. The official list of supported devices will not be published until after Android 15 and One UI 7 have been launched for at least one Galaxy smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy devices eligible for Android 15 (One UI 7)
- Galaxy S Series,
- Samsung Galaxy Z Series,
- Galaxy Tab , F & Z Series
How did we select the gadgets that are listed above? Here, a number of things are involved. First off, since Samsung offers at least two significant OS updates to almost every Android phone or tablet, every Galaxy device that debuted on Android 13 will receive version 15.
Since all Samsung smartphones covered by its four-year update program launched with Android 11 or above, flagships and mid-range phones that qualify for four years of OS upgrades will likewise receive Android 15. Of course, Android 15 will also be available for all Galaxy phones and tablets that are released in 2024.
The aforementioned list is by no means complete, and if Samsung follows its typical timeline for significant Android and One UI upgrades, it won’t be final until at least August or September. In the following months, make sure to bookmark this page and return sometimes as we will be adding additional material to this post as time goes on.
